I received a text from Mountain Dew with an offer of 200.00 per week in exchange for applying a decal on my car to advertise for Mountain Dew. They represented themselves as the “Mtn Dew Decal Advert Program”. They used Fed Ex to forward a letter of instruction regarding dispersement of an enclosed check for $3,550.50. The instructions involved cashing the check the returning all but $500.00 of the money via Money Gram/Western Union. They instructed the consumer NOT to write any name on the money orders. Once the Money Orders were purchased you were further instructed to forward a snapshot picture to (669)257-3581. They would then forward the Money Orders to the accounts dept and then confirm an address where to send the Money Orders to them. They were to be mailed via UPS next day delivery making the delivery option NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED.
