Applied for a job and got a response the next day by text. Was asked to download the App Telegram. Then was requested to complete an interview via messenger/chat. All the information provided seemed legit and they had all the documentation to support their business (website, address, letterhead, and equipment requirements, etc.) and they asked all the regular interview questions. BUT, It just felt off. I was offered the position on the spot and was emailed a start up check and offer letter within minutes. When I received the check via email, I called the Better Business Bureau and that when I was made aware of the signs of a scammer.
