I responded to a posting on Facebook Marketplace for an RV motorhome. I contacted the email provided and was given the price of $16,250 for a recent model new condition RV, a 2014 Winnebago Aspect. I was given a story about the seller's recent death of a husband, and her facial injury necessitating a quick sale. Out of curiosity I expressed my interest and was told I would be contacted by an escrow company, MT Express Logistics. The next day I received an email with an odd looking logo from "MT Express Logistics." The terms involved me sending the total by bitcoin. I tried to look up the address of the escrow company on google earth, and it didn't seem to be the right company. With a little research I found that this seems to be a common scam.

First email: My name is Deborah R. Williams and I'm the owner of the 2014 Winnebago Aspect. This RV is in great shape. It has no damages, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn't been involved in any accident. The title is in my name and is clear. I am selling it at this final price of $19,900 because I need the money asap. My husband died 2 months ago (we had a car accident) and I had a throat & brain surgery, I'm selling our RV so I can be able to recover myself (physically & mentally).

That's the reason why I want to sell it asap and my last price is $19,900 including delivery to your home address.

The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3-5 days. You will have 5 days to try out and if by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back on my expense.
