Last year we had a problem with our computer and logged onto the Gateway repair site. They charged us but were unable to repair it. Today I received a call from someone from Windows stating they were to reimburse me the money I paid since they no longer worked on my version of Windows. The form I downloaded also gave them control of my computer just like when it was worked on. They wanted my bank info and I refused. Then they said they would send me a $500 check and I needed to send 3. $100 Apple cards numbers to them to get my computer unlocked. Basically I am out of $300.
