I had been following @MsCandyPaint on Instagram for awhile and I liked the wigs that she created. She has a big following on IG and she works with celebrities often, so I thought that she was a credible person. But I was highly mistaken. So one day I messaged her and asked her about the pricing of a custom colored wig with high density. She told me it would be $750 and I could send it thru Zelle and that the wig would only take 3-7 business days to get to me. My bank uses zelle. So I sent her the money, no questions asked. The next day she told me that she needed to charge me extra for the density and that I needed to send another $150. So I did. In total so far I sent her $900. 2 1/2 months later, I still hadn’t heard anything from her and I still haven’t received anything, so I ask her where my wig is. She told me and I quote (as I copy and paste her message here) “ Hi babe I’m glad you wrote me I couldn’t find your page !the wigs I had came in I’m not happy with . The front is layered instead of all one length, I’m headed to salon I will send you a video if your okay with then I can go ahead and ship it but they are very full 200 density I had to dispute the order because they were what I asked for” . So at this point, my event that I needed the wig for had long pasted and I didn’t even need it anymore. So I asked her for a refund in a very polite way and I told her I would order another one in the future. She told me, and I quote again “Okay np Monday I do work from a specific account will send after my weekend deposits”. This is the very last time I heard from this lady. She never sent me a refund. She never reached out to communicate about it again. So a week later I figured out she blocked me from viewing her IG story, I have proof because I have another IG account. And when I switched over to my other account, her story was visible to that account. Obviously she didn’t want me viewing her story because she knew she scammed me. So at this point I was highly upset and I called her out that she was scamming me. I started commenting on all her posts that I need my refund. I DM’d her and I told her I would have no choice but to take legal action if she wouldn’t send my $900 back. She finally responded by saying that she already sent the refund and that she would have her attorney contact me at the address I provided to her for slandering her. I NEVER received ANY money back. She was lying and pretending. I tried to get her to call me and talk it thru, but there was no reasoning with her. She told me she’s blocking me permanently and she’ll be in touch via her attorney. Never did I hear anything from any Law Practice. And never did I get my money back.

To make the situation worse, the lady started posting my private HOME address on her public Instagram account for everyone to see. I trusted her with my sensitive information and she publicly leaked it! She even posted my home address multiple times on my Instagram recent photos to try and scare me into not taking legal action (Which had to adverse effect btw) . This lady is not only unethical but she’s a criminal and needs to be held responsible for the crimes she has committed. I started looking at the ScamPulse.com and as it turns out, this exact thing has happened to at least 4 other women. She always pretends like she sends the wig or pretends that she sends a refund. But the reality is, she keeps everything for herself. She’s out here scamming hard working women like myself and then uses the money to purchase designer, lavish gifts for her mom, plastic surgery, and more wigs to do more scams! This lady moves across the US and never stays in one city or salon for too long because she has scammed so many people!
