I went on Craig's List a found an ad for a nanny I responded to the ad by text. I received information from Mrs Richard Lay at [email protected] . The email said she was going to move to Amarillo from Georgia and needed a part time nanny for her 6 year old. I would be paid 20.00 per hour. I asked her the address in Amarillo and she said she would provide that information next week. Followed with back and forth text messages as she said she was hard of hearing and that was the best way to communicate. She said she would send a check for 2,150.00 and 500.00 was to pay for my services and the remainder was to pay bills at Walmart. I received the check priority mail from Express Employment Professionals Boston MA. The check was on an account with the name Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany New York drawn on TD Bank in Delmar New York. The telephone number listed on the Craig's List ad was 424-242-4519 was supposed to be her number in Georgia but googled it and found it to belong to a man in California. I became suspicious when all the pieces did not match and I did not deposit the check in my account.
