Trying to find a car for sale thru the internet came across on automotive-classifieds.com. Later an email came in response to an inquiry of the advertised car. The email address: [email protected] explained he (Jack Smith) was a serviceman on deployment to Kuwait and had his car with a shipping company to help sell his vehicle. To register at MRN Machinery which is a safe way to use this 3rd party company that insures the transaction. I went on and register with this company that seems to have a legitimate website. I then did some checking after I received transaction documents. I found red flags like the company's phone number did not ring for a few times. Then when answered, the person seem they just woke up and did not answer with the company name. She sounded like an India answer center. She said was at the office, which is not the warehouse where the car was. She would not give me the address of the warehouse. I checked thru the ScamPulse.com website that this company was not listed in the city given, Hancock Michigan. Jack Smith did not answer some of my questions about the car. A check with car fax did not reflect some of the information he gave about how long he owned the car, or when last serviced. MRN-Machinery did not give me the pre-inspection report nor a copy of the car title. I did not go thru with the purchase.
