I saw an advertisement that read "want to make $500.00 a week with a car decal for Arizona Iced Tea". I thought there was nothing wrong with trying. I sent in my information and the next day I received a text from Mark Davis. He wanted to know if I received a check by UPS. I texted my Daughter and she said yes, she texted me the image of the check. I texted Mark Davis and told that I did, he wanted me to deposit right away. I asked him why was the business name on the check from Mahalat Ryan Care Management, he said they were paying to advertise. On the way home I tried to look up the company on the check and nothing comes up. I searched the address and the only thing that came up was an empty highway. Tri counties bank with no address is on the check. Mark Davis keeps telling me to deposit the check and I'll call the bank so they can clear it. When I got home I asked my Daughter for the envelope where the check came in. The business on the envelope is real. I called the company and asked for Mark Davis and I was told there was no one by that name. I told the person on the other line that I received a $2500.00 check in advance for putting on decals to advertise a business. He said that several people called him today 9/6/23 about receiving a check from their company and he said it was a scam. He told me not to cash the check just to shred it.
