I paid for a moving service from my house to my dads house via e-transfer. About 45 mins later I had 2 friends arrive and didn't require the moving service anymore and decided to rent a trailer. I notified the moving service and they said no problem and hung up. Wouldn't respond to phone calls anymore. I text him asking for my money back and he refused saying no refunds. I sent him $300 and expected a refund because nobody even showed up yet. I said ok fine send your guys then so I can use the money I sent him. He refused and told me to [censored] Off. I have all the texts still from another number he used. This is an unacceptable moving service even though they state they treat their customers and their belongings with care and respect. Not sure if they are fully licensed either, considering they are off kijiji. Likely don't pay their taxes either.
