Somebody named “Stephanie Brooks” reached out, claiming they had a piano they wanted to donate to friends of mine, who run a school. My friends were unable to except as they did not have funds to pay moving costs, so they forwarded the offer to me.

I contacted the donor to except, and they told me they would have their moving company get in touch with me as the piano was in storage.

I then spoke with the “moving company“ who requested payment upfront… This is when I became suspicious and asked for official documentation and the website. They replied, with the website mentioned above, which initially appeared to be legit. However, the address turned out to be fake and there were no actual links in the website only the front facing page.
