was submitting a change of address for my elderly mother and inadvertently used movemyaddressnow.com instead of the trusted USPS.com website. I was using an iPAD instead of a bigger computer and did not see all the hidden clues that the site I was on wasn't the original USPS.com site. I inputted all my mother's change of address information and her debit card to pay, what I thought was $1.10, and found out today that the real charge came out as $179.95!! My sister who manages my elderly mother's account let me know of the huge charge and I am attempting to recoup the monies from movemyaddressnow.com directly.

Website that looks like official government site advertised a smooth forwarding service. Overcharged my card, prevented me from making a legitimate change of address through USPS. No contact information or phone number provided.

I used the site to try and change my address. I was under the impression it was the USPS site as it looked similar to the site I used prior to that. USPS charges $1.10 for an online change of address. I was charged $180.00.

Copied the USPS website and tried to make themselves appear as a website related to USPS to change addresses when moving
