I am an immigrant in Toronto and wanted to move to a different location. I was searching for movers & packers and I found one via Kijiji named (MOVE IT ALL MOVER'S INC). Exchanged information and confirmed move for 6:00PM.They came to my house and asked for $300 cash as a safety deposit and I was skeptical but thought that's how it works so went to the ATM and gave them the money and they stopped at a gas station and then kept me hostage and said pay me more $300 cash else I will confiscate all of your property.My valuables inside the truck were of more value so I gave them that too and then they took cash of more $535 and said the truck will not move until you move this truck and eventually I called cops. They said we cannot do anything about it very rudely If I may add. I tried everything & anything possible. I don't earn that much and I was literally looted,robbed for my own stuff and the police did nothing. My booking was for 6:00PM and they dropped my stuff at 11:00PM. There was a black guy and a Sardar named Sahib in the truck and I have no words or hope on how else I could have handled this situation better. I am setting a gofund for myself to recover this loss. If you all you chip in and beware of this scam and fraud. I am attaching the documents I was scammed for and the Truck's name & number.
