Move Central San Diego Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

I was applying for jobs through LinkedIn, the following morning I received an email that I was selected as a potential candidate for this remote data entry/personal assistant position. The position advertised high pay and flexible hours. After I expressed interest, the scam starts telling me that they will be sending me a check for almost $5,000, my cut was $900 then I was to deposit the rest and send proof of deposit. They then said after I received the check I would receive my first assignment which was to buy items at my local Walmart and ship via a local Fedex. After telling the person, I was no longer interested, they still proceeded to send me a clearly fake Capital One Check for a few dollars under $5,000. All the addresses they have provided have been inconsistent and they have used multiple business names. The application they sent, after I told them they had not provided any proper documentation for this position, listed an address that was an outlet mall in Canada. The return address on the package with the check is in California, and then the billing address on the check is in Delaware.
