This company is taking advantage of people in the county. They are charging 3-4x's the going rate to remove bees. One has an expectation of fair business practice and not to be gouged when desperate for a service. It's understandable that there may be firms that charge higher than others, but to gouge a customer and not allow them recourse to challenge the service or quality of work is scam. They prey on people in need and desperate who have an urgent problem. Look up their yelp reviews. Something should be done about this company.

On Sat 1/13/18 my wife called the above company because we had bees in our back yard. They came out and immediately said "you have a serious problem we need to take care of now" Without permission he sprayed the bees and killed them. It took less than 30 min and then he demanded $495! My wife was furious but she was alone and felt vulnerable if she didn't pay. He was intimidating her. I have had bees removed before and it was $150. She did not authorize the work, he just did it and did not tell her the price.

Called Mountain View Pest Control to request a bee removal inspection. Person on phone said that someone would be out within 3 hrs to inspect. I advised that I would be at work and that 18 yr old son would be there. The technician removed the bees and then called me to provide the astronomical fee of $495.00. Then said it was another $100 to remove the honeycomb. Told me that if I do not have this professionally removed, that the bees would return.

This company has no customer service and when I called to talk with the owner "Jeff" or so he says.. He refused to give me his last name and said that it is my fault for calling a company that charges 495.00. That i should have called one that charges 170.00 if that is all I wanted to pay. I explained that I was never given the price, that the technical removed the bees before ever providing a price. The "owner" said that he would have this technician call me. I asked why, if he was the owner, why would he put his employees on a customer complaint call. He said that it wasn't his problem to talk to me about the astronomical fee they charge without awareness and approval.

I called 7 other companies that remove bees and the honeycomb. None of these companies charges a fee over $170.00 for bee & honeycomb removal.

This company is baiting and switching and performing services without any clarity or awareness.

I found a wasp nest on my window on the patio and called Mountain View Bee Removal during my search for an exterminator... When the man arrived at my home I showed him where the nest was located.... It was not a big one but what was there occurred overnight... I am afraid of wasps and bees that is why I contacted Mountain View..... Well, all he did was squirt something on the nest, put something over it and scraped it off..This process took all of 1 minute... I asked the charge and all he said was Four Ninety Five....I wrongly assumed that since it took no time at all that the charge was $4.95... I handed him a $5 dollar bill and then I was informed the charge was $495.00... I could not believe what he said and said EXCUSE ME... He repeated $495.00 and he would not leave without his money... I refused to sign his invoice but again he would not leave me my home without it... By now I am afraid what he may do.... He took my bankcard and ran it through ... My bank account is now completely empty... I am going to report this company and all the people connected to anyone who will listen... I do not want to see this happening to anyone else... This companies way of doing business seems illegal to me and they need to be put out of business once and for all....

I called this pest control company about 2 hours after I had some bees show up in the front of my home and on the side of my home. It looked like they were beginning to go in and out - possible building a hive. They quoted my $150-200 on the phone, and said they were just around the corner at another home. When they showed up he said it would be $300. I said that it was too much, and then he said ok - then it will be 95 for my service call. I said no - and he said he would talk to the owner - went back to his truck - and then returned to tell me that it would be only $200. I gave him my credit card to pay. Then my husband showed him the other spot and they said that would be another $175. My husband was angry and came in to tell me - they hopped in their truck and took off! They never completed the job at all.......they were here 5 minutes. The bees are still here............and I'm out $200!
