We were looking to buy a english bulldog, the website had several listed for sale, we looked at the recommendations and the site itself, they sent us the contract to sign for purchase and the shipping information. It was not until 2 hours before the dog was supposed to be delivered they tried to tell us that customs said the dog needed pet insurance for $950 so we had to pay that and we could get reimbursed for 95% of it and that is when we knew it was a scam. Then we offered to come pick up the dog in CT and were told that we could not do that and then they said that if we paid and additional $500 that would take care of the insurance.
