I received an important looking letter with my mortgage lender's name in the return address section of the front of the piece of mail but simply read Lender: my mortgage lenders name and Important. The inside read that they were have been attempting to contact me regarding a matter of importance. It also contained a closing date of November 2023, a loan amount the county i live in and my lender's name. Then it had the phone number listed with the words Please call. At the very bottom just above the small print it said Thank You, The Servicing Center. It was when I read the small print I realized that it is a scam and while they do not name the actual company, it blatantly spells out that by calling the number and giving them your information that you are consenting to them contacting you with insurance offers by text or call. It even states that if you don't want to be contacted, don't call the phone number above. Very Phish-y.
