You will get a call from a number within your area code & when you call you get another number (866-217-3527 or one of their numerous phone numbers) when you call the number you are transferred to an agent who informs you about some LONG AGO debt that is supposedly yours and it is usually for THOUSANDS of dollars but of course they will settle for less...but when you ask for PROOF that it is your debt they don't have any original documents and can't do that! (legally--they must provide) that is your right and they must send written communication to your home address within 5 days of the phone call! which they email you a 'payment agreement' (which is NOT the home address) but they have no address to give you----wouldn't a LEGIT company have an address--well this one does have an address---IT'S A UPS MAILBOX/SHIPPING STORE!
