Clicked on a link sent to phone from my spouse wondering if I was interested in this Monster Energy drink decal offer to display on a vehicle. I looked into it but backed out and never agreed to anything. A couple days later I get a Priority mail package with an "Official Check" from Citibank for $1750.00 along with a low quality typed document explaining how I should spend the check and that I should text them at 201-677-8407 or email at [email protected] a copy of the check deposit receipt. It lists other information on how long the program is and how I will receive a weekly check etc. I have it along with the actual check and envelope. Then the same day November 27th, 2023 I start getting texts from Paul at 201-677-8407 asking me to contact him and am getting them again on the 28th asking me if I received the document and check and then asking me to let him know if I am getting the texts cause I have not responded to ANY texts especially after searching Monsters Official Website early morning on the 28th and finding out if they pay drivers to post there decal and found that this information I received has been a scam that has been going on for years and they listed links to the BBB.
