I received an email from Monica offering me a job interview. There were several job titles listed with an offer of $38 an hour. The email goes on to say they found my profile on CareerBuilder. They wanted to know if I was available for an interview on Monday and to click on this link.

I did not click on it and I have not responded to this email. I am going to block the sender, but I wanted to report it because I was doing my own research to see if this was a scam or not and after reading this on the ScamPulse.com I realized that this is a scam after all. Also, the wording in the email is what threw up red flags at me.

Basically everything that was described by the ScamPulse.com is exactly what I experienced including the link info etc. They scout your resume on the internet job boards like Careerbuilder and Indeed and try to catfish you. Oddly, when I said I am pretty much open from 11a - 2p daily for the exception of Thursday which happens to be today, she went ahead and disregarded that message and scheduled a "interview" via Team's link for today the day that I said I was unavailable.

I couldn't join the meeting because the credentials were incorrect and missing. 15 minutes later they sent me a chat message. I asked repeatedly for their company website and phone number and received no reply.
