I had applied to a “Pierpan family dentistry” on indeed in Wilmington, NC, and a few days later they reached out to me and told me that they had already filled the position (receptionist) that I had applied for but that I seemed like a good fit for one of their “top clients” Monica Baide. So I emailed her my resume and she replied the next day basically offering me the position of a personal assistant to her, telling me she would pay me $780 a week. Her first task for me was to deposit a check for $2400 that she had shipped out to me overnight, then, when the funds were available to me I was to get blank money orders worth 2400 and send them to an address she provided to me thru fedex overnight. So, silly me, I did it and within a few days my bank account now says I’m -$2400. And I have to pay back my bank this money that I don’t have and didn’t have before. Good times. Be wary.
