I thought I was purchasing my son a bike from mongoose.com and somehow ended up on a site named mongoosebike.com. Before I even confirmed purchase, it already sent a confirmation on a “pending order” status through PayPal but then realized I never confirmed the purchase I just created account and then it showed I made a purchase and had a pending order. I called the number listed for customer care and the gentleman‘s voice left a message and said “if you’re calling about mongoose bike this is not a valid number”. I should’ve known better but I thought I was on mongoose.com… notmongoosebike.com.
