I almost lost about $600 from my checking account. It was a number of small amounts. Someone hacked into my bank account. This started on September 9th. Caused my account to go in the negative, I call about every other day to check my balance. My account showed Venmo and the name Megan. I had to get a new debit card. I don't know how this person got my account number. I did do a Cash App possibly in August. The teller told me to get rid of it. The Cash App was connected with my bank account. It is cancelled. The $600 was recovered. My teller told me people are getting hold of debit cards.. My bank told me to contact Venmo. I did not lose any money. It is frustrating to have someone come in and steal what I have worked hard for,.
