Had a fake job posted on LinkedIn for remote customer service at Mowhawk industies. I applied. Was texted to email this person at HR. Interviewed got an offer, accepted. Was overnighted a check for 4800 for equipment. I called the bank to verify funds. No issues according to the bank. Deposited into my account it was held for 5 days. On day 3 was notified was a fake check by my bank. The hr imposter referred me to a vendor before i found this out. The vendor requested 2000 deposit so i coul receiv equipment faster while waiting on this deposit. They wanted it thru zelle. So no recourse. Then an additional 2500 to ship. So total 4500 wanted theu zelle. Now she refused to gove name.of company said was independent contractor. They had over 200 applications.
