At the Costco parking lot in Middleton, WI, a short charismatic arabic-speaking man with a white Cadillac truck came up to me asking for help. He claimed he lost his credit cards and needed help getting him and his family to the airport. He wanted to trade me his rings, necklaces and expensive watch for a thousand dollars to get back to Dubai. He claims to be rich and be able to pay you back. He talks fast. I gave him some money. And the following day when I tried to sell it at a gold and jewelry store, I was informed it was all brass and fraudulent. I don't know how many other people have been scammed out of thousands by him and his family, but I want to be the last one. He goes by the name Mohammed Abdul, he has a "wife" who is an accomplice and two other children. The woman will show a Canadian residence card instead of presenting a passport.
