I attempted to purchase a part from a business called microelectronicstech.com several months ago. This business attempted to try to get me to pay for 20,000 parts for a price of $1.25 apiece by sending them a wire transfer in advance. At the time I had not researched them via BBB. I bought a supply of these from another supplier for a better price. Last week I re-attempted to contact them for the same part. They referred me to modoelectronics.com. I attempted to call modoelectronics.com several times by phone but there was no answer. I then emailed them and they offered the same part for $.95 per part. I then asked them if I could use a credit card, or escrow to purchase the parts as I had no guarantee the parts would be shipped. They refused to accept anything but wire transfer in advance. I then researched the company and found they had only had a domain name for 3 years, and the office they occupy shows no record of their existence. there is absolutely no information about them anywhere. When I then emailed them and explained I did not feel comfortable sending wire transfer in advance they said they had another buyer for the parts and no longer wanted to do business with me. I then contacted microelectronicstech.com to warn them the person they sent me to attempted to scam me, and they also sent vulgar and nasty emails to me! I then researched both companies on ScamPulse.com and microelectronics.com has scammed SEVERAL companies by receiving wire transfers and never sending parts! Obviously, these two supposed businesses are connected and are running a scam to sell electronic parts with wire in advance with no intention of ever shipping those parts!
