Do not enter into any business with these people. Mrs. Roxanne Carter represented herself as a hiring manager, and asked me to establish a Wire messaging account. My primary POC was a John Connelly. At first, they started out appearing to be legitimate, i.e., offer letter, request for W-4 information, etc. Shortly afterwards, they sent me a check allegedly to give me a hiring bonus and to procure a laptop and other office start up equipment. The money was eventually “spent” via Venmo accounts to “authorized” persons. After that, they failed to procure anything, and missed my start date of August 16, 2021. Since then, they have tried to string me along, trying to get my bank account information. THIS IS A SCAM!
