SCAM!!!Nov22,2020, during their Black Friday Blow-out Sale, I purchased a battery operated chainsaw for $54.90. Beautiful picture on the website. In Jan2021, I received an envelope with a Xmas ornament key chain and a garrote. The garrote evidently is the chainsaw. I told them I wanted the chainsaw, then I told them I wanted my money back, and in Feb2021 they sent me another garrote. this SCAM outfit also goes by the name Modernmint. If you check out the website now you will see it is under construction, so no help.

I purchased a product from Modern Indigo that was posted on Pinterest on 01/30/2021. When I entered my credit card information, it stated it was denied. A red flag went up and I immedately, blocked my credit card, but before I did that a purchase using my credit card was made at a Jack & Jill in Canada. My credit card fraud department caught it also and notified me.

MI advertises a "Monster remote control excavator" and shows photos and videos of a substantial remote control machine along with a 3 YO riding on the excavator arm and a large toy machine unloading under its own power from a pick up truck. In the advertisement I viewed there was no language about a lesser unit being shipped or size of that alternate unit---if they choose to use a video and photographs of a substantial machine they cannot bait and switch in this manner without consequences. Of course the cheap plastic model they send comes from China so the return costs are astronomical and not worth the bother. This represents a retail scam pure and simple and this business should be investigated and forced to change its marketing methods at the least; I am considering having my lawyer file suit because it would be worth it to seek damages and spend the shipping/customs funds in this manner.

On December 3rd, 2020, I was on Pinterest and a add was posted for Modern Indigo. Out of curiosity, or actually stupidity, I went onto their Web site-www.modernindigo.com. I was drawn to their products and presentation. I placed an order for 5 items total, which was around $250.00. I was sent an invoice stating a few of the items had shipped either one or two days later. A few days before Christmas it was evident the items were not going to arrive. I sent an e-mail to the contact information provided. A very vague e-mail reply was returned only providing tracking information on the items. Nothing else. I used this tracking information and it was clear, all products were being sent from China~ Ugh!

On Christmas eve day, 2 of the items arrived. One, a little red automatic train and two, a amazing bubble ball. The packing on the train was damaged or actually dented in. Both products looked like I could have bought them from Cheep are US. The bubble ball was $49.99. It was impossible to insert the stem, or plastic blow up device, into the ball. The insertion site was inconspicuously sealed ! I realized right then, this was likely going to be a huge scam or issue. I sent another e-mail to them detailing my dissatisfaction with the products and also informed 3 items had not YET arrived. In this e-mail I informed I wanted a full refund of the products as now it was way past Christmas and I did not want them anymore. I asked how to process this information through the system. Again, the reply was identical to the first e-mail reply. It detailed only tracking information and nothing else was acknowledged.

On Jan 4th, a package arrived. In this package was 2 additional items, both horribly sub standard, esp. the children's magic luminous drawing board. On line this items looked like a top notch product. What arrived was a flimsy piece of actual cardboard literally with dents all across the surface. These items are basically junk!

On Jan 5th, I decided to do a Google search, (way past when this should have occurred) to legitimize the products and company. There were a few postings, all pointing to the fact this was a SCAMMER site with sub standard products- cheep, defective, and more over hugely OVERPRICED. A few consumers also indicated being scammed, as was I. Also, I have called the company's listed phone # numerous times. The voice mail indicates the company is "closed" and this greeting occurs whenever you call during day hours. Likely as there is NO one there. I sent another e-mail again today, now spelling out specifically my dissatisfaction (in each way) and basically calling them out as SCAMMERS. At this point, a few hours later, there is no reply.

Return policy- illegitimate company states refunds only offered up to 30 days- nice, when your product hasn't even arrived! Incidentally, the item yet to arrive is the most expensive item I ordered! When I look up the tracking information, it states it is in a process facility in Chicago, on Dec. 29th, however this hasn't moved in days.

So, evidentially, I have made a huge mistake, error in judgement, etc. PLEASE POST this ASAP so others do not fall for this trap. Also, the company's face page of the Web site still indicates "Black Friday" specials. Yep, true!

Honestly, this is WOLF in SHEEP'S clothing.

I purchased a Monster RC Hydraulic Remote Controlled Excavator that list for 199.99 but was on sale for 69.95. The product i ordered on 11-28-20 and it was on the website to have the following items High Simulation Design, heavy Hydraulic Digging Arm, Impressive Sounds on and off, 2.4G Remote Radio, Large Capacity Battery, and After sales Service Guarantee It shows a large excavator that a child is on twirling the child around showing the strength of the product. I received a box the size of a child shoe nothing like I was purchasing. This at best false advertisement and this company should not be able to get away with such a scam. They had no intention of sending the product advertised. I am probably the first person to send in to the ScamPulse.com so I express my great grievance to them because this was to be my grandsons Christmas present and know its to late to order anywhere else. Please PLEASE INVESTIGATE THEM, I have copied the webpages showing the product I purchased and they are still advertising. If you need further info or pictures I have them.
