I was approached with a job and asked to interview via Microsoft Teams for a Virtual Health Coach position on Feb 27th. On March 6th I had a Teams interview "chat" via messaging system and contacted on March 8th, and offered a position. I submitted the requested documents, offer letter, w-4, direct deposit form along with a copy of a utility bill and passport information/government ID. I noticed suspicious conversation and course of onboarding; decided to consut a friend regarding the legitimacy and confirmed that I was scammed.
