I looked online for a wrecker service in VA for a trailer truck. I found this # *** called schedule a wrecker to pick up my truck paid in advance with an EFS check the lady said it would be $550 for the wrecker to come out, the wrecker showed hauled our truck to a garage, we waited 2 days for a quote for repairs, still no quote the 3rd day. This "Sandy " who I talked to for the wrecker told the garage to only talk to her about the truck, the garage sent her the quote she marked it up about $2000 the sent us the quote on just a fax letter head. While waiting for this quote on the 3rd day my husband and owner of the truck called the garage told him he was the owner again and asked how the garage was connected to this "Sandy" and her company. They said they weren't and said she represented us and to only talk to her. We called this "Sandy told her we would be picking up the truck, she said there were additional charges for the tow and diagnostics that we would have to pay to get the truck totaling $956.25. The garage called her for payment for the tow, she refused to pay and hung up on them. They have many phone numbers from all over the us that call you back. The web site say they are a dispatch outfit, which is all just a big scam, taking hard working peoples money.
