First a fake account was set up for a friend of mine to contact the Agent Sue Gordon from the Berkley Community Fund Program. They wanted name, address, e-mail, marital status and income level info, which was all given. I was told I qualify and I need to the select my grant level and pay an amount to get the money, For example, if I paid $1000 I would get $80,000, if I paid $2000 I would get a $100,000 grant. The friend's name is Eric Kowe****ot.

My friend contacted me about a grant she got through this guy, that she got 70,000 and I even talked to her on the phone about it so this seemed real! So I sent my ID and address and SSI number and he said I was approved for the loan! I had to send 500 to get 20k which would be delivered to my door at which time I would pay a delivery fee. I thought because my friend got money that it was a real government grant! He said I could pay him with an Amazon card and I thought that was odd but thought I'm just paying this man to do the grant plus my friend I trusted! As soon as we sent the card over with 500 he said the card was used and not by him. Immediately knew I was scammed! Because only he had seen the card... he accused me of giving him a used Amazon card but what he did was use another account and used it on it because after contacting Amazon they said someone used the card and there was nothing we could do...so we lost 500 to this ******* and I believe my friend was in on it because I talked to her on the phone and everything and I think she got the money

My friend from FB sent me notice through Messenger about a government grant. I believe this is a scam and her Messehger account has been hacked. Her name is Betty Clements.
