Received a call from the number stating to be MLGW about a disconnection notice. Number noted in the scam was 800-988-1939.

Received a telephone call from this number saying our utility bill had not been paid and was red flagged to cut off service and to call this number (1-800-865-8774). I called the number and did give the guy our account number with MLGW. We were informed after getting through to MLGW that neither phone number was a MLGW number.

A woman called me saying she was from MLGW and that my utilities would be cut off within 30 minutes if I did not…

I said that this was a scam and she hung up on me.
