A person claiming to be Riley Adams from Soltec Power Holdings S.A. reached out to me via text message regarding a data entry/admin assistant position paying $35.75/hr. He told me to download zoom to start the interview process. Another person contacts me via zoom claiming to be someone named Miriam Garcia Moreno. We went through the motions of a typical interview process with legitimate interview questions. I answered them all and then they said I got the job. It was only when they said they would send me a check to deposit into my account for the equipment that I smelled something fishy. I've worked as a remote employee for 2 different companies and each time they provided the equipment for me. I only provided information that was already included on my resume, but nothing further than that. I reached out to my local police department, but they said if I didn't loose any money, then they couldn't really do anything and would direct me to Better Business Bureau. Hopefully, everyone targeted by this scammer will see the posts related to this scammer. Beware!!!
