Email soliciting a representative from my region

I received an email from [email protected] claiming to work for Mirai Machinery as an HR manager recruiting me to represent the company in my region. I immediately reported as spam once I googled it and found out it was part of a scam.

Collection Representative Scam

This company contracted with me to represent them and to colect funds owed to them. I recieved two checks and both were returned, I withheld sending payment to them until I was sure and of course the recieved checks looked legitimate and seemed to come from companies that had web sites and business information but only answering machines. I only lost the returned check fees but this happened twice.
