This scammer hacked my friend’s Instagram account and send me a message pretending to be her. Offered me the opportunity to make money by investing through Bitcoins. Asked if I was interested , that they could help me invest, they asked for a $500 to start and I was going to get a profit of $10,000.00 in 3 hours. Me thinking it was friend I’d reached through Instagram asking if that person was legit, not been aware her account was hacked. So, I’d went ahead and proceeded to buy $500 coins payment was made through my cashapp account. Then they send me a link that showed I’d had earned $10,000.00 , but I could not withdrawal my supposedly earnings because I needed a PIN number which was supposed to send via email which I’d never got. Got a message from the scammer that I’d needed to go to a Bitcoin atm machine and send $900 in order to get that PIN number in order for me to get my entire money. So I’d proceed to do so . I have my receipt and the bar code they sent to me S well. So I’d called my friend because something did not feel right , come to find out they hacked her account and had reach to a lot of friends to scam them the same way they did to me. By this time they had already robbed me for the amount of $1,400.00 dollars. Which I have all proof of conversations and the receipt of the transactions.
