A man going by the username chrismccall890 reached out to me on Instagram and told me he would send me $200 a week to simply talk to him while he’s away in Berlin for the US Army. He began by having me set up a Mint account - which is a legitimate site. And then sent me a link to receive money from “Mint Pay” - which I discovered doesn’t exist. The site asked me for my personal bank login username, password and PIN number. The URL contained “godaddysites” in the domain and that’s what tipped me off that it was fake.
