Dominik offered several Bernedoodle puppies for sale. In order to contact him, I filled out a form on his website (which is still up). He said the puppy that I was interested in was available and he could send out this weekend. I was ecstatic. Up front, I asked where he was located and after a couple of attempts, he said Houston which was great because I'm in Dallas. I agreed to pick up. When he sent the contract for me to sign, I found out he was in North Carolina? I questioned him and he said, his mistake, he used to live in Houston. This made me think I was a bit crazy. I agreed to have the puppy shipped anyway. This all took place on Friday, May 28th. He said he could ship the puppy Saturday or Sunday. I've never done this before, so was happy I could have my puppy so quickly. Once I signed the contract, I sent him $700.00. After he received it, he immediately wanted the other $700.00. I said that I would not send until I had the information on the puppy being shipped. He sent it the next day. I sent him the additional $700.00. I was supposed to get the puppy the next day in the morning. I received the paperwork saying that he would be at Dallas Love Field at 7:00 PM Sunday evening. At about 4:00 PM, I received a text from Dominik saying that there was an urgent message from the delivery company. I looked and there was a message saying that I needed to pay $1800 for pet insurance before they would ship the puppy. At this point, I knew that I had been scammed. I refused to pay the money and have not heard from this guy since. I've contacted my back for help. I payed by Zelle.
