Terrible People

I was searching for a new mini dachshund and came across their website. I contacted them regarding one of the girl puppies. They answered with a lot of convincing information….then I googled their address and it certainly did not coincide with what they stated in the email of it being a small motel on 26 acres. As soon as I asked to FaceTime with the puppy I was ghosted. They will not respond to any further communication. Luckily I didn’t send any money first.

We bought a puppy from Miniature Dachshund Star puppies for a total of $815.00. The shipping company. Global Express Logistics contacted us to say all was ok...then a little later they said we had to upgrade the crate. Which I am ashamed to say we paid..after the time the puppy was supposed to be on the plane, they said we needed health insurance. We stopped right there and did not go any further. We are now out of a puppy and a good chunk of money. So sad people have to do this

They kept trying too get me to send them money. Shipping costs were outrageous so I told them that I would go get her. That made them mad and told me not bother them anymore. The other thing I told them of my concerns with online puppy scammers and they tried to tell me that they were hacked. Donot trust them.

I went to the website and searched the available puppies they had pictures of and it said to leave name, email, phone and which puppy you are interested in. I then received an email and shortly after a phone text. There they asked questions about if we had kids, a yard for the puppy to play. I sent pics to them of our same breed we have now and shortly after she said she would sell the puppy and provided us a contract to sign and send back via email so we did. They then gave us instructions about shipping the puppy as we live out of state. She requested a money gram payment of $815.00 for puppy and shipment. Within a couple hours we got notification of shipping details. After that we got a phone call from a Global Logistics Agency saying they were the shippers that had our puppy and needed verification of correct shipping address. We gave them the local airport he would go to. Then a couple hours later they said they couldn’t ship him in his crate but needed to be shipped in a climate controlled crate. That cost would range from $1495 up to $2000. When I told them I couldn’t afford that they argued that I would get my money back upon delivery. We refused so I asked to come get him personally and they said he is in the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Airport in quarantine and would be an extra $500 to get him. I told them they were crazy and I wanted proof they had the dog and the lady hung up on me. I tried to get a hold of the seller and the phone number was disconnected and I sent emails and got no response. All paperwork looked legit. I ended up calling Pittsburgh International Airport and they said there is no shipping company of that sort at the airport and that we were scammed and that the airport does not have a separate animal quarantine space there.
