I was scammed in a puppy sale that was elaborate. They had receipts and travel bill of ladings to include tracking numbers. I initially Zelled 1k for the puppy that included a transportation fee but when the puppy was in the middle of travel (lay over) they wanted me to buy a $2k crate to transport the rest of the way. No crate then they could not complete transport. I did not send the $2k and caught onto them but lost $1k in the initial sale. They followed the scam just like the AKC listed out. I did not see it coming.
