I paid $22.98 for a phone case that was falsely advertised. The website showed an oval, raised 3D-framed design, but the business sent a cheap, flat-printed circular knock-off instead. The item shipped from China, but they were insisting that I return it to Canada. When I contacted customer service about this bait-and-switch, they refused to provide a prepaid return label. Instead, they demanded that I pay out-of-pocket for international shipping from the US to Canada, which costs $18+. Requiring me to pay international shipping for their mistake means the shipping fee effectively wipes out my refund. I would essentially be paying the entire cost of the case just to return a knock-off item they incorrectly sent me. This is an unfair business practice used to avoid resolving customer issues.
