On Jan 10 & 11, 2018, I was searching for an online consolidation loan. I got a call from Denise Downs, of Milshore Financial Services. She told me I was approved for an $8,000, but the lender had set 3 options for the loan before any funds would be released since I had bad credit, but the lender believed in second chances. The options provided 1) to have a co-signer with 700+ credit and earned over $120,000 a year, 2) pay the first three $180 payments, up front, for a total of $540, 3) to open a $15,000 collateral account with them as insurance. I told her that I had no money, and that’s why I needed a loan. She tells me that borrowing $540 should be easy from a family member or friend. I told her there wasn’t anyone I could borrow from... she told me that I would have the loan funds in my account within an hour after I made the payment, and to get back with her when I had the $540. I got an expensive loan, for $575, on the 12th, thinking I could pay it back as soon as my $8000 loan came through. With the holiday weekend, I wasn’t able to get hold of Denise until the 16th. She sent the loan papers, and I faxed the signed docs back to her. She instructed me to wire the money to Jenifer Smalls in Ontario, Canada. But no money came to my account. When I called the next day, she told me the lender needed $500 more as collateral. I was so upset, she said she couldn’t help intil the $500 was paid. Later I got a call from Sandra Stevens,saying she was Denise’s boss. She promised if I would manage to get $500,the $8000 would be in my account in an hour. This was the 19th. I had to sell my car, but I got the money to send by wire to Terrance Ford in Ontario. They told me they had worked with this lender for 7 1/2 yrs. The money never came for 4 days, so I called Sandra and she said the money was at the border, waiting for me to pay $485 border tax. I was in tears, asked why this wasn’t in the contract. She said she was canceling my loan and get a refund... and no refund. They are scammers......I broke nothing in the contract, but they continually broke the contract and kept adding undisclosed fees. I have no money, and I’m low-income, disabled senior. I cannot pay my space rent, and have a late fee and a 72 hour notice to vacate the park. They should fulfill the loan contract or refund all my money along with restitution for all my fees involved, and making it impossible for me to afford another place to move my trailer to. This slimy company needs to be shut down.
