I received 2 phone calls from Millstein & Assoc, LLC. I ignored the 1st one, but when they called a 2nd time - I returned the call. They also called my husband's cell #. They said that I had a civil suit filed against me for unpd. medical bills from 12 yrs ago. They had my ss#, my birthdate and name & addr. They gave me a name of a medical company that sounded like it was near me but I actually called that company - they've never had an office near me. I also called the nearby hospitals (which the rep from "Millstein" suggested I do) & they had no record of me at any of their facilities for 12 yrs ago. They said I received a letter from them detailing this civil suit & to appear in court in 10 days - which I never did. During one of my calls to them, they even applauded me for doing some research & that they would hold off on filing the civil suit until I got more info. They even had a reference # which is exactly like ref# for the nearby hospital, which I called. All this started looking like a scam when my name was spelled wrong on the document I looked at in an email, they gave me 2 different locations for the medical facilities, they couldn't give me a Dr. name or procedure. It is a scam.
