I was scammed..BAD by Alexandre Tala. Hired him to drive/move me from NYC to ATL (Craigslist) sent him $315 via cashapp for the 'deposit' after signing a 'contract'. My mom and I decided to do it this way because uhaul wanted too much money. My mom and I waited hours for this fool to show up. He kept saying he had to service the vehicle because the breaks were acting up (right) he stalled and stalled and at some point we realized he was lying and had no intentions of doing what he said he was going to do. I was a mess because we had already given maintenance my apartment key and my lease was up. Me, my mom and all my stuff were literally in the hallway smh We called and sent him texts asking him to give us our money back. But he never did. I tried to reach out the the police and claims court but because it was an electronic transaction on an app..basically it was gonna be too difficult to pinpoint what the theft was going to fall under in a court of law smh I have receipts, emails, texts and everything. I did flag his cashapp account as a scam. I think the thing that pisses me off the most is that my mom was also affected by this. I randomly googled his name and I'm in shock that people are still getting scammed by him. I'm also messaging back and forth with someone who was also scammed by him. He just violated me on another level and I want to warn people.
