I was originally contacted by someone claiming to be Regina Cohen from Mika Engineering Gmbh regarding a Remote Data Entry Clerk/Administrative Assistant position that payed $35/hr. They put me in contact with someone claiming to be Mr. Randhawa Galarza on Signal for an interview. They conducted the interview by text, and told me I would get a job offer after the weekend. They said they would send me a check, and I would then use the money to purchase equipment from one of their affiliates. They claimed they were going to be opening a branch near me, but would not provide details.
