This company threated to sue me for old debts when they are well aware the old debt is well beyond the statue of limitations. They even called my family members and harassed them about my old debt. They use scare tactics and threated to sue even though they know they can't just to try and squeeze money out of individuals.

I contacted an attorney regarding this matter and they said I should do nothing since they have no legal grounds to sue me. If for some reason they actually do 'serve me papers', then the attorney will represent me for a counter suit for filing a fraudulent claim.
