Received a phone call first to say that I had a package delivery that needed to be verified. The next day a message was left at my ex-husbands home for me. He returned the call and told them that I do not live there. He is correct I do not. Ex called me and played message about pending legal action. Woman's name was Abbie Stone. When I called the number back a gentleman answered, asked for the reference number which I gave him. I asked for his name, "Bob Anderson" and he proceeded to ask me to verify DOB and SS#. When I refused, he became nasty and said he worked for a law firm "Midland and Associates" in California. Again he refused to discuss anything and proceeded to hang up on me. When I called back, I asked for "Bob Anderson" and asked him to verify his business address and firms direct number. He claimed he had numerous calls ahead of me and put me on perpetual hold. I believe it is a scam. This man should be arrested.
