Microsoft Technical Support. Sam Reed. Employee # sw104. Call back number 505-459-4597. The caller, Sam Reed, (India accent) knew my husband's name and our address. He had a supposed microsoft ID number for our computer. He wanted to go over suspicious activity that someone outside the country was trying to gain access to our computer. I wanted to verify the info 1st. He game me the employee ID number and the call back #. He said a couple times that he needed me to go to my computer. I did not comply. I hung up and contacted Geek Squad at Best Buy. The Geek Squad guy was able to contact Microsoft and say it was a scam.
