They called saying my Microsoft key was expired and needed to renew, they wanted me to type in a website (I knew this was a fraud) so I ask which key was expired, they said your Microsoft key, I ask again which one?. I told them I had 4 computers which I do, and different operating systems so again I ask which one? The man got very upset and hung up. He knew I knew he was a fraud.

Years ago I did this when you type in this website, it locks up your PC and then they charge you hundreds of dollars to unlock your PC. They have been calling asking me now to call a 1-800 number I didn't get the number this time as it was late at night, this is a recording this time.

This is not Microsoft, the first time I did a reverse call look up and it came up as a fraud.

I received a call showing it was coming from 505-866-4850. He said I was due a refund from Microsoft for @$299.00. He said his name was Alex Jackson, ID# MSW9919. I told him he was calling my work number. He said I needed to be in front of my computer to get the id. I ended up giving him my home phone. I asked was this a scam and that is when he gave me his id # and gave me 810-310-3495 saying this was the Microsoft service center. He said he would call when I get home. After hanging up, I called the 505# and the lady said she had been getting calls asking same thing. I told her that someone was using her number in a scam. I then called the 810# and a guy answered "hello" in a low tone and I asked was this service center and he said yes. This is definitely a scam and I will not be answering the call tonight at home. Please check into this ASAP. Thanks!

My land line phone rang. A robotic voice said that it was an emergency call from Microsoft and that I needed to phone 1 855 426 3666. I hung up. Within thirty minutes, they called back with same message. I hung up again.

I have received two phone calls today that appear to be from my "home number". When I pick up the phone thinking it is my spouse, a voice recording says they are calling from Microsoft, and my access to Windows will be disconnected in 48 hours because they said my router and IP-address have been compromised by multiple foreign countries. I have hung up immediately each time. What steps do I need to take to make this stop? Should I be reporting this to the police department, because it is obviously a phishing scam.

We do not pick up the phone unless we recognize the number on caller ID, and they must have figured out a way to make our caller id seem like it is coming from a known source.

Pop up window concerning virus on computer. Called 1 855 number and they told me I had virus and need access to my computer

A message pops up on your computer saying that your IP address has been used for illegal purposes and you computer will be diabled if you go any further. You have to call Microsoft support at said number. You call the number and an Indian guy answered the phone. Has you type in iexplorer www.fastsupport.com into your task bar and then tries to give you a support code and asks for you full name. I ended it from there. It was clear that it was a scam.
