I was called by the number above appearing under the name Lynn George or George Lynn. When I answered the person said hello, not a business name. When I asked who was calling he said the Microsoft Corporation. He told me that a subscription I had from them for antihacking software was about to expire and would automatically renew at a charge of $299 unless I requested a cancellation. I asked why this was happening since I had just recently bought my computer. He said they had installed this software 6 months ago and it would renew automatically unless I cancelled online while he spoke to me on the phone. I said I was suspicious that this was a scam, and he said well then you will be charged the $299. I said this was impossible because I had only purchased the computer a month ago and he hung up on me.

I've had 2 phone messages. I called back, a woman said she was with Microsoft Corporation. She said she needed my computer to be open. She said if I don't cancel the firewall protection I ordered, she would charge $299 a month. She kept saying she could hold until I get your computer on. She was very persistent that I open my computer. She called from 310-256-3441. She had an Asian accent. I got a second voice mail from Microsoft Windows, she said something about a license key. She said to call back at 855-326-1700.

Google searching prints when a pop up came up on the screen with loud noises telling me to follow certain commands too remove the popup. I called the Number and a man named Nickolas Jones answered the phone with a thick accent saying that he was from the Microsoft Corporation Senior Officer #MS0010174 and told me I would have to pay him a certain amount of money if I wanted to have the virus removed. They hacked into my computer and wiped it of all software, all is left is a blue screen and nothing will work. I will now have to pay to get it fixed.

A man that says he is from Microsoft customer service, that has called be before called again today. He told me I had another virus on my computer and he needed access again for him to take care of it. I had already heard from this company before and paid them $750 so far! This time I told him no because a friend had told me it was a scam. I called the BBB to report it, they confirmed it and they gave me advice on what to do next. The man had a foreign accent.

Caller ID listed the caller as Nasomjai Siripo, but the man in the phone claimed to be from Microsoft and “needed access to [my mother’s] laptop for security purposes “. We experience this scam regularly, I have also been approached by them, and the voice of the caller is the same.

A pop up appears on my computer stating that I need to contact Microsoft immediately regarding a breach in the security of my computer. Although the page appears very official, the number stated does not belong to Microsoft. The intent is for the scammer to get remote access to your computer and to sell you high priced malware or spyware software.

Jose Rockner called from "Microsoft Corporation" claiming our computers are causing problems on the Internet. they call repeatedly at least once a week. They also claim we are owed a refund.

I am a PC Technician and I know for a FACT all my computers are functioning properly.

Using numbers from the Microsoft Website, contacted Office 365 technical support, gave remote control of my computer to them. They could not resolve my issue and I began to suffer malware attacks and pop ups stating my computer was infected and call a toll free # for a "Microsoft Certified Technician" to correct it, for a fee of course. Called the number for Microsoft Windows 10 technical support and gave remote control of my computer to four other techies over a week long period. Results were that Windows Defender was turned off, and again, I received more malware and pop ups. My problems were never resolved and technical sessions were discontinued without notice. This appears to be a deliberate attempt by third party Microsoft Support people to infect computers then charge a fee to fix them.

I received a phone call from "microsoft Corporation" to tell me there was a virus downloaded to my safari on my Mac.

I was told to go to www.teamviewer.com and allow them to access my Mac remotely to fix the issue. I asked for a return phone number so i could get me Mac and call Apple to verify the issue. I was told it is a scam to damage my mac and download a virus. The number I was given is 1-251-589-6305. I called the number and asked for "John Walker", once connected to him I asked why was I being scammed and that Apple told me it was a lie. He hung up on me and when I called back I got a recording saying the person I was trying to reach is not available. This had the potential to do incredible amounts of damage to a mac worth well over $2,800, not to mention accessing all my personal information and files. PLEASE, please find these people or company and stop them. Thank goodness I had the common sense to see it for what it was and contact the right people. Most people wouldn't and the problems this will cause is unbelievable.
