I received this email on 7/01/2021. This was a bill from Microsoft for a Windows Defender Order. It showed an invoice ID, product code and a customer ID. The amount was $399 and the date of purchase was listed as 0/07/2021. I had NEVER ordered a Microsoft product for my computer. I have an Apple MacBook Pro and I already have AVG on it. I called the number listed to complain. The man answering had a bad accent and was not professional at all. I told him I had never ordered this item and did not owe for it. He said he could clear up the problem in a minute but I would need to give him my credit details. I told him I was not giving out any such information because I had never ordered this item and owed NO money. Also, that I would report this. He hung up.

I don't know what type of file an email is so I didn't send any example.

Person called saying the product key to my windows computer is frozen that I would have to get a new product key through them so I can use my computer again
