I received an e-mail today from a company "Seifert WD Corp" claiming also to be "Microsoft Corp" with an attached INVOICE for $445.95 for Microsoft Office Total Security. E-mail stated that "charge was successfully paid". I have never purchased, or even tried to purchase this service. I do use Microsoft Office, but I have never heard of the Seifert WD Corp. The INVOICE also stated PayPal at the top. I do not use PayPal and don't have an account. I immediately checked with my credit card company to see if a charge had been made. CITI CARDS fraud department said "no charge so far". I immediately cancelled my credit card and will be getting a new number. I have Googled the address given for Seifert WD Corp (619 West 19th Ave, AK 99503) and find it is a 700 sq ft private residence. There was a phone # given (888-355-0923) but I always got a busy signal. I am highly suspicious that this is not a legit business but a scam. I don't need further assistance myself, but thought I would report my concerns so nobody else is targeted.
